Organic Apples?
I was about to go to sleep when I stumbled upon a website National News Today that shares news and expert advice on all range of topics.

One interesting article that I happened to read is about farm direct organic apples.
Actually, I am a big advocate of organic products especially when it comes to fruits and vegetable. I try my best to buy organic vegetable every time I shop for my weekly supply. Yes, they are simply more expensive than the non organic products, but for the sake of my family health, I am willing to spend more.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if I am in the country where people can pick their own organic fruit of the month? One day I hope I would be able to go on a trip where I get the chance to pick my own apples from the trees..heh!
Anyway, I am not sure whether the local grocers have this Washington organic apples for me to buy and try. Local Malaysian farmers do have organic vegetable produce but not sure about fruits though, but I really want to taste the difference.
200 Sing-A-Long Favorites
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Madacy Entertainment. All opinions are 100% mine.
I so want to buy this Ultimate Countdown Kids Collection: 200 Sing-A-Long Favorites. But the sad thing is Amazon doesn’t accept buyers from Malaysia for digital download..huhu!
For parents in countries that are accepted by Amazon, please note that on Easter Sunday (April 4, 2010) Amazon MP3 will offer an “MP3 Daily Deal” on the digital album “Ultimate Countdown Kids Collection: 200 Sing-A-Long Favorites for only $3.99. This digital album normally sells for $11.99.
This as an amazing collection of children’s favorites that is perfect for sing a long fun! I have checked out the list of the songs and they do have my favorite song – The Prune Song..haha!
You never heard of such song? Let me share you some of the lyrics..
He’s always full of wrinkles
People get them on their face
Prunes get ’em every place.
Baby prunes, just like their Dad
Wrinkled but not quite so bad
Their life’s an open book,
For no matter how young a prune may be
He has a worried look!”

Now you know why I like this song..haha! Hubby managed to download the song from the Internet and now every time we are on a car trip, we will sing along with the little one. Of course after an hour or two of listening to the same kids song, it will kind of get stuck in your head for days..heh!
So with these 200 songs, I know that it will take some long hours of traveling in the car to listen to the whole album. Plus I will get to learn many more of new kids songs apart from the Prune Song.
Anyone in the US who is willing to buy the album for me reading this blog? I can pay you back via PayPal. I’m serious about this, please help! Oh, I wonder how does this song – I Wish I Were A Little Bar Of Soap sounds like..

When You Are A Stay-At-Home Mom..
I was browsing and read a status of a friend in FB, she says something like, “duduk rumah, keja sapu angin, tolak awan..”
If you compare to others who work full time of course it seems like we, moms who stay at home gain nothing, in term of financial or career achievement..but actually we do a lot more than what we give ourselves credit for..

See, my effort to make the world a greener place..
And then when everyone is hungry, I make something good to eat and make sure that the ingredients are nutritious as well which is something I hardly have time and energy to do when I was working long time ago.

Then, when the little one becomes restless and can’t stand the heat during daytime , I become the lifeguard and set up the mini pool for him to soak in..

And when the time permits, I indulge myself in things that give me peace like art and craft..

Of course not everyday is a rosy day, but even working moms have their bad day, right?
The best part is I know what’s going on at home, not having to worry that my son is crying or screaming for whatever reason..will he be eating, sleeping and playing well..his safety, his emotional well-being..wondering whether other people who look after him are doing their job..you know things like that..
For me, it is worth more than RM500 that could be paid to a maid or RM400 paid to any nursery..yes, I admit that mothering is a hard and demanding job which makes me scream and shout especially when all the nice talk and coaxing is not working out..but it is certainly the best job that God has bestowed upon me…not every woman has the privilege to be a stay at home mom by choice.
Another Decoupage In The House..
I’ve mentioned about this paper napkin with apple motifs in my other craft blog before. And I was planning to write about it in this blog as well, but as always, I am behind the time these days.

I managed to seal the tin, applied primer and glued the motifs on. It took me about 3 days (or was it more?) to complete all the tasks. I have to really steal the time to do such stuff, like a quick 5-10 minutes before I took my shower and while Hubby took care of the little one..huhu!

This is how it looks like after a 3rd layer of gloss varnish. I thought of putting opal dust on it, but after looking at the varnished output, I thought it is just nice the way it is now.
For those who are interested to try your hand in decoupage, hurry up and sign up for 3rd April class. You can make your own apple tin after you learn the basic in my class..heh!
