Cheap Credit?
*This post is written for MungoMoney*
Have you heard about cheap credit cards? However on my side of the world, I think there is yet such thing as cheap credit cards. So if you are somewhere in the UK, check out this site which caters to UK Credit Cards and loans.

I think what they mean by cheap credit cards are those cards that offer extremely low interest rates, attractive cash back programs and other incentives such as airline miles.
Perhaps you have heard about cards that offer 6 to 12 months 0% interest free on your purchase. These are the examples of cheap credit cards.
And then there are credit cards that are offered by grocery store credit card lenders such as Sainsbury’s Supermarket.
One thing I like about the site is that you can vote for credit cards that you like.
At the moment, the Amazon UK credit card has got 3 out of 5 star by having 23 reviews from people who came and voted.
Oh, if you are book lovers, this is your chance to get loyalty points at Amazon.co.uk while saving on 0% interest on balance transfers for 9 months.
However words of reminder, check out the secret of credit card management before you blame me later for your piles of debt.
More Corsages
Remember the corsage deals I told you all about last week, about the corporate dinner.
Now they have some creative idea to change the corsage into fridge magnet.
Instead of the gigantic size of my cinnamon bark and star anise, they opt for the mengkuang small size corsage.

So this is what they are going to get basically.
But since they have lowered down their corsage budget, I have to change the beads flower into something else to suit the cost.
I’m thinking to make use of the dip I have lining on my craft shelves.

Personally I prefer this one, made from rubber tree leaves.
But as always, customers are always right and we as the business owner has to give what they want, instead of what we think will suit best to their occasion and events.
Now, I have to get moving to new design for the mengkuang corsage. It’s time to put on my creative thinking cap to come out with a new, affordable corsage.
Going For Training?
*This post is written for Open Technology Group*
For those working in technical IT area, you might have heard about all kind of industry-recognized certifications, such as MCSE, Zend PHP, Oracle Certified DBA, MySQL Certified Professional, Novell CLP and so many others.

It’s true that sometimes with years of experience and hands on knowledge you gained, you wouldn’t feel the need to have all this paper qualification, but trust me in certain employment, the interviewers do see whether you have all those certifications.
If you are looking for place to go for PHP training, have a look at what Open Technology Group has to offer.
Reading from the testimonial given by past participants, the instructors are knowledgeable and really thorough. That’s what I would be looking for if I were to attend any course.
I hate it when the instructor himself seems to be lost in what he’s trying to teach and I would straight away lost my interest in that class.
I like the fact that the class will be conducted in small group so that more attention could be given by the instructor.
Plus if you take the all-inclusive course price, the fee quoted already covers your round-trip flight ticket within United States and some parts of Canada, hotel accommodation and shuttle service.
Anyway, if your company is planning to send more employees for such training, try asking them for on site price. It should be cheaper as a whole and more cost effective for your company’s training budget.
With their own course structure plus industry recognized materials and exercises, you will be able to develop robust and efficient PHP scripts in no time.
Hop On The Technorati Train
I think it will be a dream for every serious bloggers to have a good ranking, be it Alexa, PageRank or Technorati. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s time you check your main reason for being a blogger..haha (no offense here!)

Anyway, I found one way to increase the traffic and be in the Technorati 100 most favorited list. I first read this in HomeMom3 when she dropped by at iReview to comment. Then I hop to DoshDosh to read more detailed explanation.
So I started to add people to my Technorati favorite and my task has been easier when I found the largest Technorati Faves Exchange list on The Internet done by Garry Conn. You just have to click, click and at the end of it add your details. So far about 15 people has favorited my iReview blog.
And thanks to ArmyMom for adding HomemakerDiary to her list on her post as well.
If you feel like joining this train, click the button below to add A Homemaker’s Diary to your Technorati favorite, and I will add you back in return. If you feel reluctant that I might miss to add you, make sure you leave me a comment in this post so that I can add you right away. (I know some people just don’t like writing comments, so this is just a reminder :))
Oh, if you feel like exchanging link to this post and this blog, just mention this entry in your post and I will give you a link back as soon as I notice your link to mine.
As the wise man says, give it and you shall get back more in return. Some says it’s karma but I believe it’s the reciprocity of kindness.
Tie A Yellow Ribbon
It reminds me of my Maths teacher, Mrs Ho who also taught music when I was in Form One. This is one of the songs that she taught us to sing along while she played the piano.
Life as a Form 1 student in that particular boarding school was not all fun. Most of the time, all we can think of is to quit, run back home and study in daily school like everybody else.
It was not that bad actually, it’s just that everyone seems to be adjusting to different kind of life than they used to have back home, trying to tolerate others while coping with life on your own – learning to serve the table, do your own laundry while catching up on homework and dodging the bullying seniors..haha!
If you have been living your teenage life in a boarding school, I’m sure you’ll understand what I mean.

Well, about this yellow ribbon, I almost have a heart attack last night when I noticed instead of creamy yellow ribbons, I bought a corn yellow instead. I don’t know what went inside my head when I chose the ribbons at that crowded craft shop. I specifically made a list of what to buy, even stuck a piece of ribbon as sample on the paper yet I came back home with the wrong color.
Now, what do I have to do with all these yellow ribbons?
It’s been three long years, do ya still want me
If I don’t see a ribbon round the ole oak tree
I’ll stay on the bus, forget about us
Put the blame on me
If I don’t see a yellow ribbon round the ole oak tree”
