It’s Good To Go Out

without comments

When you are feeling trapped with your never ending work and pushing dateline, take a break and go out for a walk, a drink or a change of view.

When I am feeling overwhelmed I always take some time to breathe and unwind. Have a glass of juice and see how people move and live. You will feel relieved to be where you are now, no matter how hard the task may seem to be at the moment.

A friend recently asked me about Sony T100 and I have checked out how it really looks in the market.

It’s really cool and have many great features but since I already have a T30, I just keep the info for reference later.

Maybe if I were to buy another camera it would be a Nikon D70..haha!

Since Testfreaks.com is launching soon, I just can’t wait to read more info on Blu-ray players/recorders under their Home Entertainment category.

And if you are a forum junkie, join their forum and share your opinion when it comes to consumers electronics.

The Water Is Back!

without comments

I am glad to report that as of Wednesday afternoon around 4pm my local time, the water is back into my house tank. I could hear the pump was working crazily while I was online in front of my PC and as usual the water that came out from the tap for this one, two day will be earthy dirty..yucks!

So I am not sure how soon I could go back to my chore of washing and cleaning with that not so clean water. I am thinking of getting a water filter for the kitchen (at least) and maybe if I could afford for the whole house water system as well.

Oh, the picture? I went out to KL to get the insufficient stocks last Sunday and got stuck at Semua House since it was raining heavily. Luckily there was a dining place so we had lunch while waiting for the rain to stop.

My mission for the month is almost done so I can relax and enjoy my leisure time. Next mission would be for August wedding..haha!

Make Up Like A Celebrity

without comments

*This post is written for Stillagirl.com*

Do you ever wonder how a celebrity makeup looks so hot on the screen, on the page of your favourite magazine and in the movie, everytime?

I can’t help but to envy them (who happen to have talented make up artist every time they have to go anywhere in public).

Maybe if normal people like us have the privilege to drag a make up artist around we would look as good as the celebrity we adore too, huh!

But since we don’t have that kind of advantage in life, we have to resort to using whatever knowledge and asset we could to accentuate the beauty of oneself for the world to see.

Honestly, I don’t really care so much to put on make up every time I go out but I do care about appearance.

So no matter how lazy I could be for the day, I would put on my foundation, dab on the compact powder and put on lipstick.

For me, when I go out I should at least look presentable because having a good presentable self would enhance my own self esteem.

But if there is one or two tricks I would like to know about celebrity make up it would be on how they could achieve a natural look eventhough they put on a lot of make up – the glowing skin, natural red lips, eyelashes that do not look fake and perfect cheekbone blusher.

Maybe this new mini-heated lash curler could help me for a start. Thanks Stillagirl for the info!

Plug The Leak Now!

without comments

Now I know why we don’t have water for 2 days now. There is a suspected leak in the underwater pipe in Putrajaya lake. The pipe supply water from Sungai Semenyih water treatment plant to Dengkil, and from Dengkil to all Serdang and Seri Kembangan residents – about 200,000 of the unfortunate people including us..huhu!

Pipeline check: Syabas divers checking the pipeline along Seri Gemilang bridge at Putrajaya Lake yesterday for possible leakage which has disrupted supply to thousands of consumers in Seri Kembangan and Serdang. — ROHAIZAT MD DARUS / The Star

Hubby sent me the URL about the news in TheStar: Diving into Putrajaya Lake to plug suspected leak. He also called SYABAS again and they said (just like yesterday) that the water will back tonight..huhu!

Maybe if situation get worse I would have to resort to have bath at Hubby’s office shower tonight. Oh, come to think of it, how do they plug the leak underwater? Do they use epoxy or some stronger substance?

Anyone knows please tell me, I’m curious to know!
