I was down with fever since last Tuesday. This time it was the worst fever and sickness I’ve ever got myself into. It started with swollen tonsil, sore throat and high fever (I can’t even swallow plain water), then gradually as the fever subsided, it got replaced with mouth ulcer, terrible cough, phlegm, flu, cold and now lack of voice. I’ve taken all the medicine as diligently as possible, avoiding oily food and cold drinks and all, yet at night even without the air-cond (pity Hubby!), I find it very hard to sleep. I will be coughing till my chest hurts, and now as I write this, with the lack of sleep last night, I have headache as well..huhu!

Since I don’t have any voice, I can’t answer any phone calls and have to resort to SMS. Even talking to Hubby is like a chore. My loudest shout now is barely a whisper. Oh, God! Please heal me as soon as possible. Being sick is really an agony..huhu!

I used to be very crazy when there is sales on bedding and other home furnishings items. But this year I haven’t bought any bedding set because I still have one unused bedding set in my cabinet. We went out last weekend to do some shopping for Hubby’s new job’s attire and we decided to watch movie. Since there’s not much choice we decided Resident Evil: Extinction will be a good idea. There was one part in the movie whereby they have to stop by at Las Vegas to find fuel for the convoy.

At first I was shocked to see all kind of statues – pyramids, Statue of Liberty etc and then I realized that’s what you can see in front of Las Vegas hotels. Silly me! Anyway, if you somehow have some stash of money hidden somewhere and feel like it’s time to enjoy the sin and the fake life (you see, they have constructed the fake sky etc at one of the hotels), head to Vegas.

There are many choices of Las Vegas hotels to choose from. If you want deeper information read the travel journal written by those who have been there.

There is also more places of attractions in Vegas than the slot machines and casino tables. Nearby the Las Vegas hotels, you get to scream your lungs out with the heart-stopping rides like the Big Shot, Insanity, and the XScream at Stratosphere Tower which is a part of the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino. Or you can be another Sophia Loren taking the gondola rides at the Venetian. The choice is yours.

Don’t worry, there is no undead and zombie at the Sin City..hehe!
