The Courier Has Arrived

without comments

Finally what Hubby has been waiting for since last week..the pack of bilis pintal..heh!

bilispintal.jpg

The first time (about 2 weeks ago) I bought this bilis pintal from the online forum seller for 150g and Hubby really likes it. So this time I ordered for 1kg..heh! I wonder how long it will last. Nothing can beat the enjoyment of eating junk food while watching TV..hehe!

Well, got to go to clean the plastic jars to put this ikan bilis pintal. I think I will repack about 200g for MIL since we will going back for Raya Haji this Thursday.

The Folk Art Class

with one comment

I’ve been meaning to post about the Laman Impiana folk art class I attended since last week but I was busy completing the corsages order for Saturday wedding. Despite the busy schedule I still managed to go out and watch Alvin and The Chipmunks movie on Friday..heh! Hubby has to work weekend shift so luckily I have classes on Saturday and Sunday to fill up my half day.

The above picture was taken in the hall after I received my sijil penyertaan..heh! I was being a kiasu and sat at the front row of the hall..rabun punya pasal, plus I need to see how the teachers did the strokes.

But anyway I think I still need to take personal lessons later. I will try the Donna Dewberry kit I bought because I think her one stroke painting techniques are much, much easier and not very intimidating for beginners..heh!

Valentine – Jim Brickman & Martina McBride

If there were no words…no way to speak
I would still hear you
If there were no tears…
No way to feel inside, I’d still feel for you

And even if the sun refused to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart until the end of time
You’re all I need, my love, my Valentine

All of my life…I have been waiting for
All you give to me
You’ve opened my eyes
And showed me how to love.. unselfishly

I’ve dreamed of this a thousand times before
But in my dreams I couldn’t love you more
I will give you my heart
Until the end of time…
You’re all I need, my love, my Valentine

And even if the sun refused to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart until the end of time
‘Cause all I need.. is you, my Valentine
You’re all I need, my love.. my Valentine

This is one of the song lyrics I wrote to Hubby more than 9 years ago during our early relationship time. Heard this on Yahoo LaunchCast just now and prompt me to share this. Yes Yus, I’m still the sentimental, fehlong person you know who collects poems and lyrics and nice wordings..hehe!

On Bubur Caca and Kuih Bakar

with one comment

Yeah, you read it right, but I’m not going to share the recipes or any picture of the food mentioned above here. The parcel I’ve been waiting for is finally arrived. In the package, there is one pack of kuih bakar, kuih bakar kacang, popia not-so mini, some jejari bilis with real bilis inside and 2 packets of bubur caca (not the cooked one, anyway..heh!) I bought all those items from Pekan Rabu and the seller posted them on Monday using SkyNet. I love online shopping, who needs to drive all the way to Alor Setar now when you can just click and pay for all your orders..heh!

So tonight I will having few bowls of bubur caca as supper, those caca are already soaked, but I’m not sure how much the actual amount it will turn to after the soaking is done. Hopefully Hubby will not forget to buy the kelapa parut because I don’t think the bubur will taste that nice using santan in box.

Oh, I went out yesterday and gratefully it was not that hot or raining in Jalan TAR. I got all the ribbons that I need and even bought another brand of dip liquid to try for 30th December class. Actually I was tempted to buy all kind of colors they have in the shop but I have to limit my budget..heh!

Well, I’m still not sure what to cook for dinner, though Hubby suggested sambal telur last night. Malasnya nak blend the cili kering..huhu! But I already kopek the leftover of the boiled egg which I cooked for nasi lemak on Monday and planning to boil an additional one. Sambal telur pon sambal telur la..hehe!

It’s Rainy, Rainy Day!

with 3 comments

It’s raining all day today (Monday)..huhu! And as much as I like to succumb to the cold wet weather, (makes the extra hour sleeping under the quilt just so cosy), it just makes me very gloomy inside and the fact that those laundry are not hot dried make me wish that the sun will come out soon. Monday is my laundry day so even though the Friday washing lines are not fully hot dried, ( I hang my clothes upstairs at the supposed to be TV area because I hate going outside to dry my clothes) I just have to move them out to make do for the new load of Hubby’s work shirts and my kaftan..heh!

Since tomorrow I will be going out to KL to buy ribbons for this Friday’s corsages order, if it’s still raining I don’t know how I will survive all the LRT and walking trip at Jalan TAR. I hate walking in the rain especially with loads of plastic bags full of fragile items. I really wish the sun will be up and bright tomorrow. Please God let it rain on Thursday when I am inside of my home, safe and sleeping like a baby, heh!

Oh, this pinkish gold flower, it’s the new design for my bunga stokin class this Sunday. Anyone feel like creating their own bunga telur, feel free to join my class. Details are available at website bungatelur.com.
