What Happened To All The Oil?
We went to buy groceries at Jusco last Sunday and I noticed all the minyak kelapa sawit (palm oil) like Vesawit, Seri Murni all gone from the cooking oil shelves. Luckily I have bought a 5kg minyak Seri Murni 2 weeks ago and hopefully it could last until they restock the cooking oil. I think I use those cooking oil a lot, like 10kg for 3 months because I never recycle the used oil. Once I fry, I will throw away the oil.
Worse come to worst, I might have to buy the corn oil as the substitute since I dislike peanut oil. Even that is not available, most people took at least 2 bottles of the 5kg Minyak Cap Buruh (Cap Helang, Cap Pisau) in their shopping trolleys. Must be their stock especially when the Chinese New Year is looming near in 4 weeks. Since I only use either Vesawit and Seri Murni, I just have to pray the stock will come in soon. Otherwise I have to change my cooking regime to baking, roasting, steaming and boiling..heh!
Despite the limited supply of cooking oil at home, I still cook nasi ayam today. The chicken is only good when you deep fry them..hehe!
A Busy Monday
Monday is usually a busy day for me. Those clients who are only online at work will usually respond to email on Monday and some of them prefer to call or sms about order and craft classes. While for house chores, I usually will do my laundry on Monday the most since there will be a pile of clothes from Friday night (Hubby’s work clothes and 5 pairs of socks) together with Saturday and Sunday casual clothing. The rest of the week, I usually will do my laundry on Wednesday and Friday.
Monday is also the day that I get back to clients who request sample. Like this bunga dip lili, I only managed to complete the sample after I get all the materials during weekend (it was raining really heavily in Jalan TAR last Saturday..huhu) Luckily for her, I get all the materials I need, even the dip color match what I’m looking for perfectly.

Whereas for another client of mine, the type of ribbons that are always available suddenly out of stock for the color that I need. Yes, I do get that kind of problem especially when the clients are the fussy type. Those who are really sporting usually can get what they need really easily, with very minimal hassle. Must be the law of the attraction, those who are always negative tend to create negative energy and in the end what is supposed to be a smooth journey prove to be a hard one even for those around them.
I hope the person who orders this bunga dip will be OK with this sample so that I could proceed with her order which is due in the middle of February. While for the other client, she’s willing to wait until the new stock of ribbons arrive (and hopefully it will..huhu!)

Seribu Tahun – Imran Ajmain
I never know that this is the soundtrack song for the Samarinda series, Kerana Cintaku Saerah, but what I know that the singer is a Singaporean and he sings in falsetto. I think the lyrics Seribu Tahun is very touching as it is the story of a man waiting for what he’s dreaming of. Perhaps for those who have watched the series will agree that the song suits the theme of the drama.
Rela ku menunggu mu seribu tahun lama lagi
Tapi benar kah hidup ku kan selama ini
Biar berputar utara selatan
Ku tak putus harapan
Sedia setia
Rela ku mengejar mu seribu batu jauh lagi
Tapi benar kah kaki ku kan tahan sepanjang jalan ini
Biar membisu burung bersiulan
Tenang lah gelombang lautan
Ku masih setia
Chorus
Ada kah engkau yakin ini cinta
Ada kah engkau pasti ini tuk selama lama nya
Rela ku menunggu mu seribu tahun lama lagi
Tapi benar kah hidup ku kan selama ini
Biar berputar utara selatan
Ku tak putus harapan
Sedia setia
Kembali Senyum – Izwan Pilus
When I was working in an office about 2 years ago, a friend introduced the Korean version of this song. It is supposed to be the soundtrack for series Full House, titled Why (Oon Myung). I never watch the series but I like the song that I downloaded the Korean MP3 into my PC..heh. Then later last year, a fellow Malaysian male artist, Izwan Pilus sings this song in Malay. Since I heard it on Era, I thought it will be nice to share it on my blog.
