Back To The Reality

with 3 comments

Since Hubby’s leave is coming to an end, so does mine..huhu! I’m back to the reality of house chores and all. I’ve been neglecting the piles of dirty clothes and today I decided it’s about time to do the laundry.

I won’t be cooking till May so it’s great that we tapau some lauk pauk from Kg Baru when we went for late dinner plus supper after watching Grey’s Anatomy. I already masak nasik and will reheat those tapau lauk later – all kind of ulam, budu plus sambal tempoyak, pari bakar, tempe goreng sambal, bilis with petai, masak lemak rebung (this bamboo shoot dish gives us back pain and sakit badan..some people say rebung bisa..but still so sedap..huhu!)

Oh, check out this massive red head..nice of it to bloom a day before my birthday. Now I can say, even my garden celebrates my birthday this year..haha!

The Romantic Man I Married

For the Woman I Love

So many times
I have tried to describe
how much you mean to me,
but it is never more
than a pale reflection
of my true feelings.
What we have together
is beyond words….

So when I hold you close,
I hope you hear my kisses speak
the language of my heart.
And when you look into my eyes,
I hope you can see
all the love I feel for you inside

Happy Birthday

The Birthday Dinner

without comments

We went to Alamanda hoping to have birthday lunch at Sri Ayutthaya but I was not sure whether the branch there was closed permanently or it just happened to be closed on my birthday..huhu..So after a quick lunch at the food court, we went to IKEA. Actually there was something unexpected pouring in Alamanda that day but since Hubby already mentioned it in his blog, I rather not repeat the whole story.

On Saturday evening I browse the Internet and found the other branch of Sri Ayutthaya in Subang Jaya. I called them and they said the closing hour is at 11:30pm. So we went to the restaurant and had a wonderful Thai dinner. I even asked the waiter to tapau 4 dishes because we ordered so much and couldn’t finish it all..heh! Good thing that I decided to take away the food since we were starving after the shopping spree on Sunday so Hubby simply masak nasik and we ate the leftover.

Next time I will order their green curry again..heh! The vegetable tom yam was good too. However they don’t have som tam as they only have kerabu mangga.

I will update all the food pictures in my food and cooking blog later when I have time, OK! In the meantime, I need to get ready for my craft class in One Utama. Malasnya nak bergerak..huhu!

First Monday In April

without comments

Since last week was my birthday, I decided to take a short break from the blogging world, plus I need to accompany SIL and Hubby’s niece shopping for her upcoming wedding in August.

We had good time finding items like lace and wedding attires, walking from Jakel to Sogo to Pertama complex to send the cloth to tailor. And it did cost a lot too..huhu..sometimes it amazes me to see how people spend for wedding.

Oh, talking about money, a friend asked whether I did get paid from Nuffnang. I know it’s not much but simply to prove to everyone, even a mere blog like this could earn money locally.

Well, I have to get back to what I was supposed to do today, to complete the order due this Sunday but as usual Monday won’t be really productive. Hopefully tomorrow I will wake up more energetic and in full spirit to do the bunga dulang..heh!

The Path To Freedom

I know, I know..I’m still stuck with those pictures taken during the Singapore trip. I have no other bunch of photos to share except some pulut kuning I bought at pasar malam, jemput jemput pisang I made at home and photos of my students doing the craft work.

Anyway, tomorrow will be Hubby’s last day at his current office and I think we will celebrate that by watching Alvin and The Chipmunks at the GSC Alamanda. They are giving free tickets till tomorrow before the cinema is officially open on the 3rd. Oh, BTW for my birthday I am thinking of having good meal at Sri Ayutthaya (craving for hot and spicy food so no Italian food will do here..heh).

Thursday we will be going out the whole day, first to get my supply of craft materials and perhaps if we have enough time a visit to KL own Butterfly Park will be accomplished. I hope they have more varieties of butterfly at the park. Will share more pictures later. In the meantime I have to prepare the materials for the corsages..tomorrow is the only time I could do the dip flowers while Hubby is away at work..heh!
