When you walk in into any shop or planning to shop online, do you look for sign that says Accept Visa/Mastercard? Personally when I’m in the mood for massive shopping whether online or offline, I will look for sign that says Accept Credit Card Payments and such because I know it will be less a hassle if I do my transaction through credit cards.
When it is in retail establishment I know how much the balance available in my credit card so I don’t have to worry about the lack of cash in hand (especially when you have loads of shopping bags in both hands, it is more convenient just to hand out the card to the cashier than dig out my handbag for cash and change..haha)
So if you are running a business, it’s good to consider adding credit card as payment option. Of course you have to know about merchant account and stuffs, the chargeback risk etc but in the end it’s worth it to have that signboard “Accept Visa/Mastercard” on your shop’s door.
