A friend ordered decoupage items from me and I have been working almost daily to complete the order.
These are some of the door hangers she ordered. 6 pieces will be given to her children’s teachers and another piece she’ll hang on her bedroom door (I presume..haha!)
There are a few more items which I am happy to custom made for her like a key holder, a salam plaque as a house warming gift, a birthday present for her mom and another cute anniversary gift for her parents..nice eh! Hopefully one day I would be given such a lovely present from my own child.
I really think it’s not the price of the gift that matters most but the thought and details that we put into the making of the gift. A custom made item is always special as each one is uniquely made for the person. We think about their preference, their favorite color for example and we find something special to commemorate the event of their life.
It’s good to be thought about every now and then rather than we are the one who always think about people in our life.
I hope those recipients will feel special receiving all these custom made decoupage gifts. After all I did my best to make it as nice as possible 🙂
