A friend of mine came over to collect her bunga songket and as we chatted about our mundane life and business aspiration this year, I can’t help to smile to think that I am not alone, feeling blue and helpless this year..heh!
Sometimes what we are looking for is not an instant solution for the problem we think we have, but a shared understanding that we are not alone fighting the feeling. As with me and my friend, we agree that we have to find something more challenging to look forward this year, maybe a bigger chance to broaden the business network, or try something totally new in our craft business – like doing craft class and demo for foreigners, join exhibition, sell the products to overseas market.
In the mean time I think I have enough on my plate to keep me busy until the end of this month, with bunga pahar orders, craft classes and all. This yellow calla lily is due for collection on 27th January and another bunch of bunga dip for February. I shouldn’t feel bored with what I’m doing, it might be routine tasks (after 3 years it’s no longer challenging) but still it’s something worth doing and people are willing to pay for it.
