On Scrapbooking And Decoupage

So for those who have been wondering what’s up with me since the weekend, well not much going on over here. Just the normal routine house chores and some craft tasks.

Saturday, I have one student coming over for scrapbooking class and I was happy to sell some of the items for her to start doing the craft at home. At least most of the Provo Craft and Rob and Bob Studio papers could be sold to my students as I have found new obsession for papers from Basic Grey. I am still waiting for the Wild Asparagus line of papers to arrive.

Then after the class we went to open house for Raya celebration. We managed to make it to 2 houses and let down the 3rd one..heh! I guess God has granted my wish to eat at people’s open house this year rather than hosting my own.

Oh, while waiting for the night open house invitation, we went to One Utama as I need to find more items for decoupage. Got another bunch of decoupage tissue and new color for the paint, yeay!

Sunday, before I went out for my final session of sinus facial, I cooked lunch for Hubby and did the laundry. As mentioned earlier, since I’ve been drooling for some kampung dishes, I cooked sambal udang petai and fried ikan masin. Then later for dinner I made kari ikan Indian style with fried kembung. So my cooking mission has been accomplished on Sunday.

Monday, since the laundry task has been done, I sealed the tin for this weekend decoupage class and painted the wooden box. Not much cooking as well since Hubby said the leftover would be fine for dinner. So I just fried some more fish to accompany the curry and reheat the sambal udang. After dinner while watching House, I managed to decoupage the wooden box with the new tissue I bought on Saturday. I will share the picture later, OK!

Since I have some free time in the evening while waiting for Hubby to come home, I made inti for karipap daging and that’s what we had for supper. I think if I continue not having any big craft project, Hubby will gain another 10kg in no time with all the eating and tasting new dishes..hehe!

NVM, I will clear up the living hall after 17th Nov and we can start doing the Pilates together..heh!
