I Love PayPerPost

I was chatting with an old friend today who is expecting her first child. While resting at home (she’s doing Graduate study at the moment), she spend some of her resting time reading my blog. She asked me whether I get paid when I write the sponsored posts.

She said it came as no surprise if I was paid for writing because that was my talent and passion since high school. Yes, it’s true. I won many writing contests and most of the contributions I sent to local publication did get published but that was like 10 years ago.

Luckily I can polish up my writing skills with more motivation when I was introduced by my husband to PPP early this year. He started writing earlier than me but I was more diligent to see how much I could earn after a month writing for PayPerPost.

My old friend asked further on what kind of company I write the sponsored posts for. I told her that I write sponsored posts mostly for PPP, a well known and reputable company when it comes to blog marketing.

I persuaded her to join PPP as a postie under me (hey, the commission is good) and consider blogging as another source of income. But she said with the coming baby maybe she wouldn’t have time to juggle it all.

I think my first post started in February 2007 and that time my page rank was not so high and the choice of opps was quite limited. Nevertheless I tried my best in writing to do paid posts at least one per blog. (Yes, I do have more than one blog..haha!) On good day and less busy schedule I managed to do maximum posts for each blog.

I have not cashed out any of the money yet because I am aiming to buy a new TV for my bedroom. If I could save another one or two month worth of earnings I might be able to get the LCD TV I’ve been checking at the local store. At the moment I have around USD700++ in my account and more is coming in for last month’s writings.

I have made many blogger friends and it’s really cool. Even before I write sponsored posts I always blog hopping to see what others are writing. Now after 3 months going out with PPP, I think my relationship in terms of blogosphere people is just getting stronger..haha!

Thanks PayPerPost! You have made me a better blogger and a more well-informed person.

  1. I should have use PPP instead of Blogsvertise. Anyway, paid posting did bought me my domain name and my cheap extra large webhosting space 😉

  2. Ashrufzz,

You should try PPP because I think in terms of opps for paid post they have more varieties compared to other companies. Nevertheless, just do the paid posts as much as you can since it’s money coming in while doing what we would still do even if we are not paid 🙂
