Calla Lily, A Rainy Day

I was so into reading Echoes by Danielle Steel last night that I went to sleep around 5 a.m. Before that I was doing calla lily sample for a friend’s wedding. She requested bunga telur in calla lily design, it’s her favourite flower and she has been trying to find this design in the market but to no avail.

I was not aware how calla lily looks like in the first place since I thought lily is lily, I mean the usual big 6 petals lily..well that actually is tiger lily. After doing some Google ing on how calla lily looks like I finally come out with the sample. This time I used stokin as my material since it can stretch and would be easier to bend the wire to be shaped into calla lily.

By the time I woke up today, it was gloomy outside. I was thinking to bring down the half-dried clothes to be aired outside, but looking at so many men doing constructions and renovation work at my neighbour’s house, my spirit dampened. I rather stay quietly in the house, it’s better for them to think that nobody in the house than knowing that I am all alone. These days one can’t be too careful when it comes to personal safety.

So I continued to do few more pieces of the orange calla lily since I would like to make bunga dulang for sample. I realized that I still lack few necessary items, some wire for decorative beads and matching pearls for adornment of the bunga dulang. So I stopped and continued reading the Echoes. And then it started to rain. Good thing that I did not dry my clothes outside…well I guess I better finish the book since nothing much can be done, no Astro and no free friend on YM to chat…
